A summary of the day

Today I revisited the Tower of London. I've been there before, so it wasn't high on my interest list. I did get pretty close to a couple ravens, however. They're pretty boss. One of them fluffed up is feathers in an impressive display before hopping off the fence rail and run-hopping to the other side of the courtyard.

It was raining quite a bit by the time we left, so rather than walk, we took the tube to Borough Market. It's a pretty swank food destination. Pretty renowned. I got some Turkish Delight (omgyum) and other delicious sweet things. A classmate and I ended up on our own while everyone else went looking for sandwiches. She and I agreed, "Why would we want to eat sandwiches, when there's this amazing food market here?!" So we found a pad thai place, and watched them make it right there. I still have leftovers which I plan to make last. 

This evening we saw WICKED at the Apollo Victoria. I haven't the words. It was amazing! The costumes... I just want to take them all home. I loved the dresses! And the SET! AH! So fantastic! Not to mention the music. Gosh. It was all just so great. I got all dressed up for it. So did many of my classmates, and we had a night out. Lots of fun.

We're doing a picture a day starting today, and the challenge was to take one picture and make it black and white with a splash of color. I was a bit of an overachiever with it and have done three... It was fun to do, so I just keep doing it... So far, I like this one the best:
